How to Apply for local grants from Komen North Louisiana

First, it is important to understand the difference between a Community Grant and a Small Grant.

Community Grants (CG) are awarded through a highly competitive application process.  An independent panel of local experts reviews all applications to ensure the best projects are funded.  Small Grants (SG) are not simply a smaller version of the Community Grants program, rather an opportunity for the Affiliate to explore different avenues to reach new communities, fund capacity building projects and further develop partnerships.  The Small Grants program requires a less rigorous application process and are awarded year round.  Before beginning any application, or if you have questions, please contact Kelley Matkins, Mission Coordinator at 318-220-7050 or kmatkins@komennorthlouisiana.org

All applications must be submitted using the Grants e-Management System (GeMS).
